Chanderi, handwoven in the rural parts of Chanderi by Zayed's Abbajan, Abdul.  Zayed takes my orders, has the falls and pico done and then ships out the saris.  This activity supports their entire family as well as their extended family.

The Chanderi silk saree is one of the prettiest saris in the Indian ethnic oeuvre.  Its light and airy; it falls smoothly and presents a pretty picture.  This sari is one of the most versatile because it can be worn with several different kinds of blouses, red, gold, white, a printed blouse or a matching blouse.  Each blouse gives the sari a different look.
